I am totally against a beauty pageant for men, coz a beautiful or pretty man is not something nice aslan. There is a smart man, successful man, handsome man, ...etc but definitely not pretty man.

Anyway, regardless of my opinion about the pageant, do you think the pictures displayed here represent Mr.Egypt.

The one to the left I guess he falls somewhere between Mr & Miss Egypt! while the one to the right gives me hope to be the next Mr.Egypt!

THE 100th POST

This is my 100th post since I started blogging.
I didn't imagine that it will come in such circumstances (90 mins before a surgery), so I will just say what I feel at the moment without editing....

Although it is not a big operation, but it is my 1st, and "el 2a3mar beyad Allah".
I just want to say that I tried my best to make a positive difference, sometimes I succeeded, others I didn't but I am not regretting the time or effort, and I am sure that if I 'didn't finish what i am trying to start, others will definitely do, and even better than me.
I tried to love everyone or at least like, and el 7amdulleah I don't hate anyone and don't have enemies.
I just have a request, if I did or say anything to anyone that made him/her upset, please forgive me.

Pray for me,
Mohaly

Operation at 9am CLT, in hospital till Sunday, in bed at home till 30 April.
P.S. I have written 2 draft posts that will be published with someone's help in the next 2 days till I am able to "sit" again by Tuesday in-shaa-Allah.

Contradictions Part VI - Egypt Anchorwomen Battle for Hijab

Ranyah Sabry (BBC News)

The last four years in the lives of TV presenters Hala El Malki and Ghada El Tawil have been a continuous struggle brought about by their employers’ refusal to implement two court verdicts

TV anchors Hala elMalki and Ghada El Tawil have won court cases in civil court and state court; opinions in both courts affirmed their right to wear hijab while anchoring the news. The TV state-owned station will not relent, however.

The fact that Egypt is a Muslim-majority country makes this totally absurd.

El Haggan....Da Kan Zaman!!

I am just wondering what will kind of info Israel would seek about Egyptian "Atomic" Energy. We are still fighting about whether we have el Dab3a as a place for building the nuclear reactor or 5 stars hotel!!
Mohaly

"The second case of its kind since the beginning of the year, Egyptian authorities announced on Tuesday that Muhammad Sayed Saber, 35, an engineer at the country's Atomic Energy Agency, has been charged with spying for Israel. Israel Foreign Ministry Spokesman Mark Regev said: "These sort of charges unfortunately appear all too often in the Egyptian media and they always prove to be baseless."

Nefertiti.....is now German!

Germany refused to display the Nefertiti Statue in Egypt for 3 months!!

OUR F@#% STATUE IS NOT ALLOWED TO BE DISPLAYED IN OUR F@#% LAND!!!

I don't know what to say or feel, should I say we lost any power, or should I say the Germans are right coz it is the best way to preserve it, or should i simply shut up and akkabar.

I thought that people only were Flying Dubai, now we have our heritage Flying Berlin :(

Marriage & Virginity - Part II

I believe that this reply from Yasmine Farahat deserves another post of its own to dicuss the importance of virginity in egyptian marriages.
Mohaly

Y. Farahat said:
people make mistakes, men and women. say a girl was foolish and reckless, naive and in love, whatever the reason, but she ended up sleeping with a guy. it's a mistake, she admits it and regrets it. does that mean she is doomed, and would never be able to marry a decent guy? will she be judged forever because of that mistake, however big it is?like khateeb said, this is something that will have to come up in a relationship eventually.if she's dating a guy, and it's going well, and they're considering having a future together (which means that he thinks she's a good person), if she told him that she's not a virgin due to a mistake she regrets. Does that mean that he would end it just because of a mistake?I want you all to think of what i said in a very objective way, and share your thoughts.

Women....God Bless You :)

--I think women are a great blessing from God.
--They give life a taste, odour, and color (hopefully good one).
--I believe that the luckiest man is the one who has a loving and caring woman/women (mother, sister, wife, daughter) in his life.

P.S. I am not in love.

Al Qa3da Again!!

Why do they want? we are already facing hell inside our countries and every time we travel. They made our life miserable and we all became suspects.

ENOUGH BLASTS IN THE EAST, WEST, & INSIDE EGYPT & THE REGION. Er7amona ba2a!

Mohaly

Don't Answer....Any Answer is wrong!

In Roz-al-Youssuf, I have read an interview with a college girl saying:

"I evaluate the guy through the answer of 1 question: "Do you accept marrying a girl who is not virgin?". If he said yes, or no, or even it depends, I don't consider him a real man!!! coz the only right answer is "it doesn't matter"! ".

This is like choose any color as long as it is blue!

Mohaly

The Three Challenges of the PM!

If you are the prime minister of Egypt, and you are asked to choose 3 major challenges that you will work on solving as a threshold for the development of the country, what will choose?

If I was the PM I will focus on Education, Health, & Traffic in order to build the minds, build the bodies, and utilize the time & efforts, and this will lead to a better generation and better services. But the floor is open to discuss which 3 are the most important (significant).

P.S. Let's assume that the PM is elected so he is committed to his promises & plans.

Al-Jazeera Documentary - Where is the truth?

Did anyone see the documentary film that was prodcasted by Al-Jazeera yesterday mid-night covering the torturing of Egyptians in the Police station.

I cant believe that is true. If it is, then Why, police men are fellow citizens, what do they gain from doing such horrible stuff even with criminals who should be send to court first. By the way, does anyone know if we have anything about having a lawyer attending with any suspect like in the US or not?

I felt so bad after watching that I haven't slept till 5am!!

Happiness - Part II - Quality of Life

  • Making time for yourself and self-care is worth doing, even when it requires changing a few things around, because it promotes good health and improves the quality of daily life.
  • Quality of life is part of the recipe for happiness, but it is also an outcome of a lifestyle that incorporates a reasonable level of self-care.
  • The lifestyle changes you make to improve your health should increase the quality of your daily life to the fullest extent possible. They should somehow make you feel good.
  • Even people who say they "hate" exercise say they enjoy the way they feel after an exercise session...relaxed, invigorated and renewed.

Fair Dictatorship - Part II : Political Maturity

I am bringing up this subject again coz I don't think we reached a final understanding regarding the sub-issue of political maturity (Why, how, & when).
Mohaly

bo2bo2 said...
sorry gee i don't believe in "only solutions" what right is right i am against anything that treats Egyptians as politically immature "when u treat a child as a man he becomes a man" bo2bo2
Mohaly said...
I agree ya bo2bo2 if the child is well raised and have no psychological problem, but when he has been subjected to hunger, fear, and injustice; i.e homeless child, he needs to go through rehabilitation before being treated as a man in order to be able to be responsible for his own acts.
Yasmine Ismail said...
sorry bo2bo2, they are, the people who give their votes to the one who pay more are politically immature. the people who talk much but do nothing are politically immature. The people who care about themselves without having a real belonging and seeing the bigger benefit of the country are politically immature. The people who still screw up the public property, the people who say an opinion, and change it when you turn around are politically immature.i guess these are the social diseases mohaly talked about and it needs to be cured before moving on.Y.I.

The Calm & The Furious

Why is the person to the right calm & the person to the left furious?

1. The right told the left something that annoyed him.
2. The right didn't pay attention to what the left said.
3. The right doesn't get angry, just make others angry.
4. The right told the left to look furious 3ashan el sora tela3 7elwa!

Send the right answer to 911.

P.S. any resemblance with any of the people you know (family, friends,...etc) and this picture is a mere coincidence!
