Without introduction ... I am now totally convinced that we are in a big fake drama, and we have wasted 7 months (11 Feb -11 Sept) of our lives in big fat black joke. The only reality was the 18 days (25/1-11/2), after that I feel it was just "film hendy", just like Sept. 11th where today marks its 10th memory.
That was the biggest strategic mistake in the history of the Revolution... I have to admit that we were wrong when we went home on Feb 11th, we should have stayed there for another week or two till Mubark men were caught, protesters killers were busted, and a clear timeline is agreed upon for the transitional period. Since then we have been paying the price of not staying there, and each single win came through a struggle with SCAF at first, and then with Islamists, and now with half of the Egyptian People!
Let's recall what happened from the beginning:
- On Jan 25th, they tried to get people home through water hoses, and tear gas... It didn't work.
- On Jan 26th, they tried to terrify people through media ... It didn't work.
- On Jan 27th, they cut off communication ... and it didn't work..
- On Jan 28th, they killed and injured people... and it didn't work (made people stronger)..
- On Jan 29th they appointed a VP and changed the Cabinet... it didn't matter.
- On Jan 30th they tried to terrify the people at home and streets... and it made people more determined..
- On Feb 1st they tried to play emotional, and it didn't have the enough impact.
- On Feb 2nd they tried to get us back to dark ages, and we have beaten them...
- On Feb 5th they canceled "El Tawreeth" and it didn't matter then..
- On Feb 8th they tried to compromise... and as if they have said nothing..
- On Feb 10th they tried to delegate power and give promises ... and people ignored them..
- On Feb 11th they moved power to the SCAF as a last resort ... and it worked, and people went home :(

I am afraid that Tahrir protests started to be meaningless to SCAF now, we need to think about different strategies to save this revolution that goes along with Tahrir... What I am really sure of is that at a certain level of disappointment and despair, a real 2nd wave of revolution happens, and this time it wont definitely be "Peaceful" as those who will make it will be only demanding one thing ... Taking over power in Egypt in order to be able to apply what others couldn't... and then no one knows how the struggle will look like!

في كل يوم يمر منذ اندلاع ثورة يناير الباسلة تتوالى الأحداث لتفرز بين القوى التي اجتمعت في ميادان التحرير لمدة ثمانية عشر يوما تهتف بإسقاط النظام.. في كل يوم يتضح أن وحدة الشعار لم تكن تعني بالضرورة وحدة المقصود به.. بالنسبة للبعض كان إسقاط النظام يعني التخلص من بعض المنافسين في السياسة واستبدال وجوها بوجوه أخرى أقل فسادا (ربما) وأقل قبحا.. وبالنسبة للبعض كان إسقاط النظام يعني تعديلا في موازين القوى بحيث تستبدل تحالفات بتحالفات أخرى لا تقل عنها نخبوية وإقصاء وانتقائية في المؤسسات التي تحتاج لا إلى إعادة الهيكلة فحسب، وإنما للتطهير التام.
Back then none could have imagined that it is part of the game.as much as it looks like a dark game now, back then it looked like a good solution.
i don't want to accuse the army of anything right now other than being unclear-which is enough anyway- in their policy.
I am gradually loosing my hope in any justified prosecution of Mubarak, sons, elAdly and others, however justice is still in Allah's hand. so let them go to hell. Literally.
What i am more concerned of now is the country and our future. things HAVE to change. protesters or whoever have just went too far by attacking the israeli embassy and given USA the right to interfere on a golden plate(they have been dying to do so, only we gave them no reason untill now).
we are loosing control over the country, Sinai, inner peace and inner affairs.
Let's calm down, clear our vision, set the target and go for it.
let Mubarak and others go to hell, if they persist on it, and let's live.
We need to stop destroying ourselves.
we need to stop any gatherings for the time being and stop protesting, bc as you said Tahrir lost any credability now after the recent events and the Taware2 law is back anyway.
Seems that I lost my vision too and need to rethink things over.
Being unclear is the thing that led to us being suspicious, and now being lost.
هل مصر قبل 25 يناير زى مصر بعد 11 فبراير و ال 18 يوم دول كان فاصل؟
in many ways yes. these 18 days were a dream in our history. and in other ways, nothing has changed.not bc there was no revolution, but bc they are not related to politics.e.g. manners and behaviour of ppl.
but we have to be fair bardo some things have changed.the most important change in my opinion is the ability to break the fear.
many have overcome their fear, realizing that being "quiet & mo2adab' doesnt really protect them from falling victim to unjustified behaviour of amn el dawlah or police officers.
if this is the only + point, i am happy with it.
however, we still have a long way to travel before reaching our destination.

الثورة المصرية...عندنا دراما مش زي أي دراما!
بدون مقدمات.. بت الآن مقتنعاً بشكل تام أننا نشهد دراما كبيرة مزيفة وأننا أهدرنا سبعة شهور (11 فبراير-11 سبتمبر) من حياتنا في أكذوبة كبيرة سوداء. الحقيقة الواقعية الوحيدة كانت الثمانية عشر يوماً (25/1-11/2)، أما ما تلى ذلك فأشعر أنه مجرد فيلم هندي تماما كأحداث
اا سبتمبر التي نشهد ذكراها العاشرة اليوم.
دعونا نمعن النظر فيما حدث منذ البداية:
- في 25 يناير، حاولوا إجبار الناس على العودة إلى منازلهم باستخدام خراطيم المياه والغاز المسيل للدموع فلم ينجحوا.
- في 26 يناير، حاولوا إرهاب الناس عن طريق وسائل الإعلام فلم ينجحوا.
- في 27 يناير، قاموا بقطع كافة وسائل الإتصال والتواصل فلم ينجحوا.
- في 28 يناير، قاموا بإصابة وقتل الأشخاص فلم ينجحوا ( على العكس ازداد الناس قوة وصلابة).
- في 29 يناير، قاموا بتعيين نائب للرئيس وتغيير الوزارة.... فلم يحدث ذلك أي فرق.
- في 30 يناير، حاولوا إرهاب الناس في المنازل والشوارع وإخافتهم فازداد الناس إصراراً.
- في 1 فبراير، حاولوا التلاعب بمشاعر الناس ولم يجد ذلك نفعاً.
- في 2 فبراير، حاولوا دفعنا للعصور المظلمة، ولكننا هزمناهم.
- في 5 فبراير، قاموا بإلغاء "التوريث" ولكن ذلك جاء متأخراً ولم يعد مهماً.
- في 8 فبراير، حاولوا المساومة.....ولم يكترث أحد.
- في 10 فبراير،حاولوا تفويض السلطة وإعطاء الوعود......فتجاهلهم الناس.
- في 11 فبراير، قاموا بإعطاء السلطة إلى المجلس الأعلى للقوات المسلحة كآخر محاولة فنجحوا وعاد الناس إلى بيوتهم
كان ذلك أكبر خطأ إستراتيجي في تاريخ الثورة....وأعترف بأننا قد أخطأنا حين عدنا إلى بيوتنا في 11 فبراير. كان علينا البقاء لأسبوع أو أسبوعين آخرين حتى يم القبض على رجال مبارك، وجميع من قاموا بقتل المتظاهرين، بالإضافة إلى الإتفاق على جدول زمني واضح للمرحلة الإنتقالية. منذ ذلك الوقت ونحن ندفع ثمن عدم بقائنا هناك وكل فوز حققناه أتى عقب كفاح مع المجلس الأعلى للقوات المسلحة في البداية وبعد ذلك مع الإسلاميين وحالياً مع نصف الشعب المصري!
أخشى أن مظاهرات التحرير باتت غير مجدية الآن. نحتاج إلى التفكير في إستراتيجيات مختلفة لإنقاذ الثورة...وأكبر ما أخشاه أنه بعد مستوى معين من الإحباط واليأس، ستندلع موجة ثانية من الثورة وهذه المرة قطعاً لن تكون سلمية لأن من سيقوموا بها لن يكون لديهم سوى مطلب واحد.....الحصول على السلطة في مصر ليتمكنوا من تحقيق ما عجز عنه الآخرون.... ولا أحد يعلم كيف سيكون ذلك النزاع!
آمل أن يقوم حسين طنطاوي وسامي عنان بما هو صائب وأن يدلوا بالحق في المحكمة هذا الأسبوع. أعتقد أن من شأن ذلك جعل الطريق الذي نسير عليه أكثر وضوحاً.....
