432) What Women Want; A Male Prespective -Intro!

After the Success of What Men want, and bena2an 3ala talab el gamaheer, I will start the "What Men think Women Want" series this summer.

In this new series I will be talking about what men think women want, and what women actually want. It is a tough series since I am a guy, and since the majority of the blog audience is girls. But anyway, the floor is open for suggestions, comments, and even corrections.

Men -in general- find themselves hardly able to understand what women think and what women want from them. Men think that women a complex subject, and they will take everything from them especially their freedon. It is a tough experience that men have to aquire.
On the contrary, women just hope to receive more attention, love and care from the men regardless their financial and social status. They just want men to praise them, to support their mentality, spiritual and basic needs.

428) The Obsolete Certificate!

What the hell is happening in the Thanawia Amma!!
This OBSOLETE certificate doesn't even tolerate more problems like selling the exams ..etc!

The weird thing is that students say that the exams are hard because it requires you to THINK and doesn't come from the stuff they are used to practice on the whole year!!

Sob7an Allah, I teach Strategic Management for post-graduates in AUC, and I get less than 50% of the exam from the parts to be memorized, while more than 50% of the exam depends on thinking and reaction, and that is why people come out of the course THINKING DIFFERENTLY.

We have to change our stupid way of learning and exams as well, and this Thanawia Amma need a whole revamp to make it consistent with Universities and Job Market.

Mel Akher, the problem in Thanawia Amma wont be solved except with a VISION.

425) What is life?!

Sometimes our different answers to the same question can change the whole perspective our lives.

What is your answer if I asked you a very simple question? What is life?

Will it be: It is the span of TIME between the minute you were born till the minute you die.

Or: It is the expectations and hopes your parents had for you even before they get married, passing through all the accomplishments in life that –according to its impact- doesn’t stop with your death.

421) What Men Want - Episode 10 - Finale!

After exactly One month of starting this series on May 11th, we finally come to the final episode of What Men Want.

If we were talking in Eps. 9 about Men wanting a female who will get them & take care of their off-spring, then obviously Men want a woman who will commit to them.

Though increasingly this is hard to find, it doesn't take away the wish. Men want to make a home eventually and are looking for a woman who will be a willing sharer in home life. Men want a woman who they can share with and trust and be open with. Commitment is not a one way street and therefore men are struggling to find the levels of commitment they always dream of.

A final word:

As I said in Eps. 1, Men want it all!! Men will do anything for the woman who can fulfil these wants, but usually they can't get it all. However, they can tell when the time has come and when they meet the right person.

Men can be easily kept committed to home if they felt that this is the place they can re-charge, and the source of happiness & love in their life challenge.

Ya banat, I hope that I helped in displaying what men want, but my advice to you is to choose the guy who cherishes the woman, and know that she is a blessing from God. Don't care much about the looks (tall, short, fat, thin...etc) and and the brand of his car and watch. Care about his mind-set, how does he think about the future, a man with a vision, a man you can trust and rely on, a man who can be a role model for your kids, a man who takes you as his partner but know that he is the leader, and with power comes responsibility.
With all the advantages of being single, men don't ever feel complete without a woman no matter how successful they are. 3ala ra2y 2adi el belaj song: "Regala bedon gawaz, shababeek men ghier ezaz!".

Ya3nee men el akher ... Men don't want to be alone.

P.S. a successful yet lonely man!

419) What Men Want - Episode 9 !

Men seek the attributes in women that point to someone who would make a great mother to future offspring. Men are seeking women who are feminine, gentle and kind because deep down the qualities that make a woman a great mother are an attraction in themselves.

Believe it or not men see even small things like the long healthy hair and nails as sign of feminity and ability to carry a baby coz there is a great urge inside everyman that he has a mission of getting his successor.

So men are looking for women who retain their femininity and and are caring and kind to them and their children afterwards.

416) What Men Want - Episode 8 !

Building on what we said last episode "challenge", men want a woman whom the can "communicate with". Men don't like angry women who shout & Hit. They want a woman who can debate and is able to discuss.Men like smart women but to an extent as they dont like them to outsmart them in some stuff ;))
No matter what the man says about wanting a follower, he at the end needs someone as his personal consultant, and this role is best played when this consultant is his wife (started dreaming, huh!)

Ya3nee I wanna say that Communication is a key word in any successful relationship.

414) Yes & No!

In post 398, I asked you to satrt saying no but I didnt mean to say it alone coz No without yes is war as Willian Ury Said.

Yes builds communities....No builds identities
Yes connects ... No protects
Yes for peace ... No for justice

We need the Yes as much as we need the No. It is all about using the right time and place for saying yes or no! So never say yes when you mean no!

413) What Men Want - Episode 7 !

After the battle of the sexes in the last episode, I was thinking of not tackling another debatable issue in men "wants" but when I thought about it I found out the hardest part is over :)

This episode is about "Challenge" and again a nice coincidence to write about while I am now in Alexandria that is known for its challenging women ;)

Men love a challenging woman, someone who keeps them on their toes. This is because men are generally lazy in relationships once they feel they're in secure territory or in other words, has taken the woman for granted. When a man is challenged so he does something about it.
If you want to keep your man interested, keep him challenged but don't push it hard coz it may cause the same negative effect of chasing him all the time and killing his freedom. Don't give him everything at once, gradual and make sure that you are getting something in return (doesn't have to be one-by-one but at least don't just give and give without taking).
So Challenge him but don't ever Neglect him.

412) Hear the music before the song is over!

Life is the path, the strategy we are pursing in the way to our goal / destination. Life is not a problem to be solved or a game to be won. We sometimes over think/worry about how far we from the starting point or the future point, and STOP to think what to do. Life isn't about stopping...it is the stream that has to keep flowing till the end BUT with a pace that allows to to enjoy it .... !

I'd like to share this poem - author is not known-, but I got it from a dying little lady (16 years old with cancer), and I felt ashamed of myself beside her wonderful persistence to live every moment to the full!

You better slow down.
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.

Do you run through each day
On the fly?
When you ask How are you?
Do you get a reply?

When the days are done,
do you lie in your bed,
With the next 100 chores,
Running through your head?

Ever told your child,
We'll do it tomorrow?
And in your haste,
Not see his sorrow?

Ever lost touch,
and let a good friendship die,
Cause you never had time,
To call and say "Hi"?

When you run so fat to get somewhere,
You miss half the fun of getting there.
When you worry and hurry through your day
It is like an unopened gift thrown away

Life is not a race.
Do take it slower.
Hear the music.
Before the song is over.

I realized now why do we ask kids what do you wanna be when you grow up, we are just asking them to supply us with ideas to enjoy life coz we have ran out of it!

411) What Men Want - Episode 6 !

P.S. Is it a coincidence that episode sex, ops six, is being written from Sharm ;)

This "want" for sure won't surprize any of you, "Sex".

Men know what they like in bed and tend to stick to it. The adventurous sexual appetite in most men isn't there even if they are convinced it is. Men in reality are quite conservative. Sexually adventurous has nothing to do with having lots of partners and more to do with the things they will try with the same partner.

We have a big contradiction in Egypt regarding women and sex! Men want women to be somehow experienced or know how to please him, and in the same time someone who is a sex naive, and consider this "naive" as a sign of well-mannered female. I really hate men who classify women some for sex and others for marriage!!

I see sex as the ultimate peak of showing love, so sex without love is a short-sighted fun mechanism. Many women in Egypt are raised perceiving sex as a taboo, and afraid of it. It should be treated like food and drink. It is desired and should be wanted but within the limits set by God.

I'd consider sex to a marriage like salary to a job. It is not the only- and may not be the most important- criteria in choosing the job, but you cant accept the job without it!

410) Sharm vs. Hurghada!

I used to go to sharm el shiekh once or twice for fun from mid-90s to 2005 then shifted to hurghada when i started having business there. i have always prefered sharm over hurghada..
I have been in sharm for couple of days in business now, and for the 1st time, i start feeling that i feel more comfortable in hurghada!!

Does this have to do with age, or because i have lots of friends in hurghada, or coz sharm became toooo commercial!!

409) What Men Want - Episode 5 !

Men want someone who is supportive. Many women are quick to criticize men in their behavior, career and set about trying to change and mould them (sometimes they do!). This is a crucial mistake.
Men can be manipulated yes, but they see their partnerships as support systems. The best relationships work both ways in terms of support. Where a woman is not able or willing to give that support and is too quick to criticize then she may lose her man or at least will push him to seek support 3and wa7da tanya and then te2ol el regala khayna!
