The killing incidents in 2008 -the public cases in specific- are increasing, and I am fed up with their coverage specially Heba/Nadeen case. Tooooo much talks and bla bla. I don't know if it really deserves all this or it is just a distraction from Talaat Mostafa's case?!

Actually the media is to be blamed on this.
They are doing thing based on the "sabooba" principle. They couldn't find one in Tamim/ Mostafa but they managed to dig a gold mine out of Heba/ Nadeen.
It is really a "sabooba" for the media.
Shimaa,
I am not familiar with the "sabooba" principle? what is it?
Thanks.
Hello Mona :)
well a "sabooba" is term used to describe anything that will bring money.
The media is just after the money the coverage of such crimes will bring. They are not after justice as they want it to seem like.
Thanks Shimaa, that was helpful :)
But aren't there a common factor in these two cases - they are both crimes of revenge - as I understood from the media.
It is just very sad that the offenders involved in both crimes thought that taking someone's life is the only way they could restore their sense of dignity or whatever it is they were taking revenge for. In that sense, it really does not matter if the offenders or the victims were celebrities or invisible citizens of the Republic of Egypt, it is about the revenge mentality that results in these brutal acts. It is about the why, where and how did people learn that brutal force is the only way to problem solving.
