536) It is the Life in our Years!

The past couple of days I spent between people who are either dying or dead. Life and all its problems suddenly looses its meaning, and you know what, the only thing left in the memory at these horrible moments is the good time with this dying person.

As Linclolin said:
It's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years.

P.S. Thank you for your support, I am better, she is still alive but I don't think for long as it is an actue case. She is my second mother. Thank God for everything.

  3. Mohaly please, you have to be strong cause you are not alone in this, yu have to support your mother, she needs you.
God doesn't bring us except good things, even the problems and hard times he sends to us to learn from it and to apply what we learnt to adjust our life to be better.
you are right Omar ( what doesn't kill you make you stronger), this is my favourite quote

  4. The quote of Lincoln represents your education so I dismiss your feeling after that, Our life is just this action Sad to whom dye Happy to what happen and so on.It'll loose every meaning if you are doing something to the will but if not, LIVE.

  7. Alf salama 3aleha, by the way an acute condition doesn't necessarily mean that it is an end stage!! In fact the opposite is true in most cases, an acute conditions strikes quickly & resolves quickly isA. Of course I don't know the exact case of hers, I am just talking about a general medical definition here. GOD bless her & you hang on my friend.

  8. I can relate to some of what you said in this post Mohaly, as I have gone through similar experiences myself with both of my parents. I remember my struggle between hope and despair, between optimism and realism, every single moment for months while I was trying to make sense out of all that was taking place in my life at the time.

And yes being around people who are making the transition or who have already made the transition can be quite a transformative experience.

I guess my biggest lessons from these experiences were about learning to surrender, doing the best in the moment, to not take everything for granted, and to let go of my expectations for the outcome as it might not be up to me to determine sometimes.

I hope that you find your peace of mind and may peace and blessings be upon your grandmother.

  9. Thank You Mona, Ola, Elham, Omar, and Nourita. I am better now, I just don't know what happened to me, I was much more stronger, I lost my dad, grandpa, and my closest cousin before and they were close to me, but this time I don't know why I am becoming more fragile. Is it a specific case or is it a change in personality, I just don't know.

  10. No Mohammed, it is neither!! Simply a person may feel like "I can't take it any more" for a while, this feeling is usually triggered or provoked by a special event, that's all.
Any way, the strongest person in the world can have his weak moments like others.
    Hang on
