479) Fawazeer Ramadan: When is Laylat Al Qadr?!

I will solve the Last Fazoura myself :)

I waited till the last single night in last 10 nights of Ramadan to post this so that I don't affect anyone's prayers. Laylat Al Qadr this year (1429) was the night of the 25th (last Tuesday/Wednesday night). The Sun and clouds in the 2 pictures (taken both at 6am the following mornings) on the 25th and the 27th can tell you the difference as the Sun is clearly seen as a pie without clouds on the 25th (below) while you can see the clouds and Sun Rays on the 27th (above).

  3. Would it be possible that the night of Qader differs from town to town?

Where I live we had no sun at all on the day of 26th of Ramadan (the day you are suggesting.) It was completely cloudy and dark and we had heavy rains.

  5. Mona: The day I am talking about is the 25th morning not 26th.
I know that it is one night everywhere and Allah A3lam.

Mai: Ya Mai 25th morning not night, it was 24th night :)
Plus the weather was bad almost everyday and today is the worst in humidity.

Today was a terrible day anyway and it was crowned by loosing my religious mentor whom I used to pray after him for 20 years. I couldn't stop crying in the ganaza. But he died right after khatma. That is a great Khatema, Rabena yerzo2na gamee3an 7osn el khatema.

  8. I believe you 3ala fekra! The sun was different that day. It was the day I was able to make a walk back from work that took me 90 minutes and the weather was peaceful.
