713) Fawazeer Ramadan ::: Bloggers & Marriage!

I have noticed (after some research) that many of the good bloggers in Egypt are not married, and this has nothing to do with age or gender. Many of them are busy and successful al-hamdullah and even well known (like Marwa Rakha, and Ghada Abdelall) ... What is it with Bloggers and Marriage in Egypt?!

El Fazoura:
Why are the majority of the good Egyptian bloggers (men and women) not married yet?

  1. can't you twist el fazora a little to be why do successful-good young men and women in Egypt - even if not bloggers - are not married and can't find a good match for them?

  2. I think the reason behind that is that the guy doesn't like the woman to be better than him , and they see in writing or being famous makes woman better than him !

    men el a5eer : el ragel bey5aaf men nagaa7 el set we enaha teb2a a7san meno ...

  3. I think that the more knowledgeable and successful the person becomes, whether a man or a woman, the higher this person's standards in choosing a partner become....So I think that yeah, that's the link between the good Egyptian bloggers and them not being married...

And I personally think that it's quite difficult for people to get to really know each other nowadays...You see a person, and even if there's a probability for you to like that person, it's difficult and unaffordable to get closer to them and know them without getting into a relationship that might or might not work which is again not an option for a lot of them....

It becomes difficult to settle with less than what they expect

And with all the different variables even with successful people coming together, it is still difficult for them to find the one and only match!!!

Wfel akher bardo, after all is said and done, it's naseeb, lama el naseeb yegi ba2a :) lol

  4. la laa la..

ana 3andy nazarya tanya 7'aaaales, and this nazarya is built on proof by examples:

The reason why bloggers are not married is due to the reason that they blog BECAUSE they are not married.:D. They have much free time in hand and a good talent and so go unleash it. Married people on the other hand, mel aa7'er keda.. ma3andohomsh wa2t yekteboh.
It is the same with people on my online list. Koll ma7ad yeggawez yebbatal yeegy online :D

    eeeeh.. donia!

    Examples:Faker fadfadation? Dee? Nousha who barely blogs now? w 3'erhom w 3'erhom kteer :D

  6. Yassminaz: mesh dayman we mesh kol el regala. Both contribute to the success of each other, and it is much better to marry a successful girl than an airhead.

Sue: I am convinced with your opinion, and this matches with Ze2red's point too.

I hope Engy and Gjoez theory is wrong. I really hope so. This means that many of the famous blogs will fade away. But the time factor is not that much of a factor i guess. For example, I usually blog for 20 mins morning (except in ramadan, more random).

  7. May be bloggers should marry each other and merge their blogs together to keep it running :)

  8. aywa aywa ta3ala w el7a2 the new hottest idea over the blogosphere "Bloggers Match making in heaven"... and "Ya bakht men wafa2 raseen fel 7alal :D"

  9. Comments almost summarized the problem but I think marriage in Egypt has many faces beside what is mentioned.

Anyway Mohaly placed a good idea: they can go for a new blog wher both are authors but they should keep their old blog for the hard times when both get angry, so everybody posts on his/her blog till they reconcile again - by commenting for example :D

You may be right in general but some men dont think like that khales.

  14. I think most women & mean with analytical Brain in general suffer from this problem.....I agree with Sue's opinion and I would like another factor: Sense of detachment- Most people who find solace in writing - like bloggers, poets, authors- tend to feel more comfortable thru communicating their emotions, thoughts, inner conflict through writing even if kept to one self...I think they have in common what I call ...sense of detachment- it is a state where U clear ur mind & soul by taking a step away from the reason behind any inspired thought or emotion.....or sometimes by describing, and refuting the issue.....Also, they have another common factor, they like to think before they respond !! so blogging serves well.....
Mesh 3arfa but this is taking me towards an unexpected conclusion: Despite writers', bloggers; skill in expressing their opinion and inspire us, they seem to need more "communication skills" vis a vis !

  15. Truly I didn't mean to...actually I breathe thru writing too though I don't share most of it....!
May be I was talking about myself :) smile ya gamila :)

  16. I personally know a few very successful examples of bloggers marriages, yet I won't say they are successful because they are bloggers, but of course because they share many interests, and have the capacity to understand and accomodate each other..let alone the willingness to build a home together.
That said I am a true believer in human interaction, and that an online judgement have never been a successful measure. Fa bottom line ya3ni the idea is ok but has to be taken out of the virtual..with no expectations (3ashan el disappointment). I am not trying to be negative or anything, I just have been around the blogsphere for a long while and met as well as travelled with many bloggers..and let me tell you disappointment prevails :)
